For my doctoral research I am examining the challenges to CSR, especially in light of the financial crises brought about by reckless and inadequate corporate governance and responsibility. So much of Follett's work could be used as a guide to create a way forward for CSR that would be viable, sustainable, and fair to all.Any contributions and ideas from Follett fans would be enormously beneficial and I look forward to responses. Hello Susan, Thanks for your quick response. Fascinating topic you are exploring.
If you haven't already I highly recommend you connect with Albie Davis. She will be at the meeting. Follett's work influenced Albie in being one of the founding mothers of community mediation centers in America. She was also instrumental in helping to bring mediation to the US court system.
There are fine articles available for download on the MPF site- several by Albie about Follett's concepts and one I just found by Follett on Creativity I plan to print out.
This subject matter is of vital importance today with so many negative power-plays in various arenas.
