What brings you to Follett?: While working on a ma degree in Conflict Resolution (2001-2003) I read about 'power with not power over' others by MPF via Albie Davis in Kolb's book entitled 'When Talk Works'.

In 2004, through the magical connection of 'Super Play in Super Space', email exchanges began with Albie and continue to this day. Albie generously sent me a copy of 'Dynamic Administration' by Mary Parker Follett. This brilliant piece of work inspires me to write about POWER PLAY.

I am hoping to attend the conference in Rouen and even more hopeful that other members of the network will be able to help with my research. Currently I am looking at corporate social responsibility (CSR) in light of the world economic crisis and the parlous reputation that business has acquired through many recent scandals. My aim is to ask, 'What would Mary do?' and use her concepts, particulary of integration, to look for an evolved theory of CSR. Therefore, any contributions from members will be most appreciated.
