Studied years go with Churchman and Ackoff (who were students of Singer who was student of Royce). But neither ever mentioned Follett unfortunately. I only found her through my recent return to Royce and Peirce and the search for the 'good pragmatists'.
Welcome, Michael. Interestingly, I was a colleague of the late Bela H. Banathy, who had been a fan of Churchman and Ackoff's ideas related to participatory design, and it was Banathy who introduced me to Follett.
Interesting. It is only in my dotage that I find all of C and A's ideas in Peirce and Royce. Despite their brilliance they were in fact quite parochial and seemed to have constantly feared contamination of their students from other schools of thought. The closer the school the greater the fear naturally.
Good day, I picked interest in you after going through your short profile and demanding it is necessary for me to write to you immediately. I have something very important to discuss with you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on (ronmorri01@gmail.com) for full details. Best regards, Ronald Morris.
