The Mary Parker Follett Network

Unity, not uniformity, must be our aim. - MPF

This week-end, Emmanuel (Groutel) and I started (on the phone) a short discussion on positioning Follett's ideas with Taylor's ones. Very interesting.

Follett mentioned Taylor's ideas several times in her writings. For instance, she talked about scientific management in one of her paper (written in 1925) collected in Dynamic administration, mentioning taylorist (in english, taylorian?) O. Sheldon's paper written in 1913 (other many examples could be referred to).

I open the thread on this (naive or provocative?) question: was Follett a taylorist?
