From Getting To Yes I learned the example on how to divide an orange. Someone told me the idea was developed from Mary and I want to learn more about her.
I'm attached a page from an article by Deborah Kolb titled: "The Love for Three Oranges Or: What did we miss about Ms. Follett in the Library. Negotiation Journal, October 1995. In her prologue Kolb mentions that the orange story was neither originated by Fisher and Ury or Follet, but instead by Robert J. House, University of Toronto.
Glad the orange brought you to the network! Albie Davis (I hope you can upload this file!) Ugli Orange Kolb
