I teach Organisational Behaviour and Personal Leadership skills and want to redress the imbalance in gender representation on OB thinking in standard texts.

Hi Fleur - Very pleased to connect with you as a friend through the Mary Parker Follett network and glad that Albie recommended that we link - Albie has been very generous with her time and sharing knowledge on MP Follett's work and concepts. I was first introduced to Follett through Albie's Article - An interview with MP Follett, as part of the Harvard Program on Negotiation, Negotiation Pedagogy book, and continued to follow (and cite principals of) MP Follett's work since.
I also have an interest in OB, collaborative networks, knowledge management, Negotiation and Dispute Resolution, including the influence of gender in each - delivered presentations/training on Women in Negotiation, and also ideas/thoughts on both negotiation and relating styles aligned to gender influences and impact on new ways of organising - I look forward to future discussion, sharing ideas etc.
Nice to connect here. Yes, I am happy to discover MPF through my PhD study though amazed that after all my years of academic study, and especially professional development in leadership and mediation, I have only now come across her name....her influence seems greater than the credit which has been given her over the years. Clearly, you are doing your part to rectify that ....as I shall now do mine. Since I have been reading her, I also find myself, through my leadership coaching, workplace and organizational intervention and resolution work, thinking about her ideas and how they relate to and explain what I am doing in my practice. She surely does resonate with me and my work too :). Be well.
Good day, I picked interest in you after going through your short profile and demanding it is necessary for me to write to you immediately. I have something very important to discuss with you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on (ronmorri01@gmail.com) for full details. Best regards, Ronald Morris.
