- I wrote a thesis in 1998 under Pawelec, A. D. now I am Ann Deschenes. Towards an Understanding of Transformational Leadership in Education where I credit M.P. Follet for coining the term instead of J. M. Burns 1984 book. I am grateful for her visionary capabilities. Thanks kindly, Ann Deschenes
