Profile Information:

What brings you to Follett?
I am a Phd student in social work and a former adjunct professor. I am interested in Follett and will be including her work in my dissertation. Secondly, I believe her work is important as social work and the human services sector needs to fully explore alternatives to current management approaches.

    Welcome, Floyd.

If you haven't already come across a 1959 book, Community Organization in Action, I recommend you get a copy.  I just checked my favorite book search, BookFinder.com, and Better World Books is selling a copy for $5.58, which includes shipping (probably in the USA).

It is a compilation of "basic literature and critical comments" collected by two professors in the School of Social Work, one from Michigan State Univ, and the other U of Michigan.  Mary Parker Follett is featured in a chapter on "Democracy and Group Thinking," excerpted from The New State.  It has 75 different chapters covering a wide range of topic still of interest today.

She was definitely an early community organizer!    Warmly, Albie Davis

I picked interest in you after going through your short profile and demanding it is necessary for me to write to you immediately. I have something very important to discuss with you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on (ronmorri01@gmail.com) for full details.
    Best regards,
    Ronald Morris.
