I'm working on Follett's relevance to pragmatist/feminist philosophy & know several philosophers also working in this area.Continue

Is anyone else in the MPF Network studying her philosophical foundations?

I am interested with all that explain Mary P. Follett's ideas on management emergence and especially the philosophical foundations of her thought (the Gestalt Theory, references to Fichte, Kohler, for example). Thanks Margaret for this stimulating initiative!

Hi Judy, Margaret, Jeannine & Sebastien.  What a great idea.  I'm looking forward to growing with you!  Albie

Looking forward to being in this group.  I wrote a book in 1994 called "The CEO Challenge."  In this book, I identified MPF as the first real executive level coach....plus Peter Drucker has paid high, high tributes to MPF.

Also, Hi Albie.  I remember my fond visit to your house back in 2002.

Hi Patrick!  Say it isn't so that I didn't respond to your Hello of three years ago.  I remember your visit fondly and The CEO Challenge is on my shelves of favorite books!  Albie (Now April 16, 2016 and I am in Boston!)

I think I accidentally hit "stop following" three years ago!

Hi all. I am looking at MF from a perspective of applied research. My work is in organizational aesthetics. I am especially interested in Follet's connection to the Gestalt school of thought as well as her implicit aesthetics (as Bathurst has pointed out e.g.). Not sure whether this group still exists, but I would be interested.
